I have about 10 years project management experience across public, private and not-for-profit sectors mainly in training and management development as well as organisational diagnosis and change, digital media and B2B based research. I’ve now moved into the heady world of academia and have started as a lecturer in HRD as of mid-August 2008.
My main areas of interest are in organisational learning and adaptability and its implications in terms of management learning and practice. I am also interested in evidence based practice and bridging the research-practitioner divide.

This blog is scratch-pad on the practices of workplace learning and in particular, application of technology as well as broader interests in managerial practices, innovation, change and generally making organisations better and more humane places to be. The blog was a mechanisms for reflecting what I did as a practicing manager but will now be more concerned with the evidence and theory base for practice.
